Introducing World’s First Bamboo Silk Ikat By Ace Designer Madhu Jain

Ace designer Madhu Jain has been working on Indian crafts and textiles for the last three decades. She has been reviving many forms of ikat and played a major role in re-introducing the Dhaka muslin which was almost dead after partition.
She has now introduced world’s first Bamboo Silk Ikat after more than one and half decades of extensive research. Madhu terms it as ‘textile of future’ as the textile has anti-bacterial and power to protect you from UV radiation. The best part of bamboo textile is that it’s biodegradable, eco-friendly, non-toxic and pocket-friendly.
