Traditional Drapes with a Modern-Day update by Dilnaz Karbhary Design Studio

Dilnaz Karbhary started her fashion label in 2009 after working as Couture Design Head for one of India’s leading designers Tarun Tahiliani for more than one and half decades.

She recently launched her new collections “Pairidaeza 2017”. The collection spells old romance in its detailing and silhouettes: Ruffle- collared blouses are pair with slim skirts and flouncy lehengas, in a first of sorts, flapper dresses become body contouring kurtas that are worn over lehengas.

Minute details such as the striking patterns of a flower petal or tendrils of a creeper sparked the inspiration for her Fall/ winter’17 collection, Pairidaeza.
