The wedding had been held in the magnificent fort-resort in Barwara, which is a resort in Sawai, Madhopur in Rajasthan, India. Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal opted for a traditional Punjabi wedding. And we can see Katrina’s sisters walking her down the aisle as part of one ancient ritual. The sisters of the bride also chose to go for the traditional bridesmaid Indian attire. The style and accessories are admirable and compliment the traditional theme of the wedding!

Katrina’s family was a part of her big day to give her their blessings and love. In the below picture we can see them accompanying her down the aisle to her groom. This traditional ritual is said to keep all the evil omens away from the bride and keep her in the protection and love of her family members. The new bride had worn the traditional bridalwear to pay respects to the Punjabi roots of Vicky Kaushal. Katrina is styling a handwoven Matka silk red bridal lehenga by the popular designer Sabyasachi. The bright red lehenga compliments Katrina well along with the embroidered Zardozi borders. The fine Tilla work along with the gold electroplated veil is what completes the traditional bridal avatar.

Katrina Kaif is completing her look with gold pieces of jewelry of authentic themes. Sabyasachi has also designed the elegant Matha Patti. Katrina herself customized one of the most beautiful parts of her wedding, her Kaleeras. Her Kaleeras had quotes picked from the Bible along with Dove bird charms. The Ek Tha Tiger actress completed her bridal look with Gold earrings and Red Bangles.
